Choice not chance…

Go to a social enterprise for print and fulfilment – hopeful that the pandemic has created a new mindset of helping others.
We are welcoming our first cohort since 2020.
The moment we have been waiting for since Boris Johnson told us that “we must stay at home” is fast approaching.
While the wheels of the Commercial Foundation have kept turning during the 18 months since March 2020, what we do best has been forced to take a rest.
Foundation staff have worked hard to fulfil orders for our clients. We’ve picked, packed and posted PPE and other vital supplies to customers who have relied on us throughout the pandemic.
But while we have taken pride in being that reliable friend to so many clients, there has been something missing…
For eight weeks from the start of September, we will be doing what we feel we do best, working with the young adults on our #NoLimits programme as we look to transform their lives. – Adam Miller. Director. Commercial Foundation
But as September starts that all changes and we can welcome our volunteers into the Foundation once more.
While it has been rewarding for the Foundation staff to be helping organisations overcome challenges caused by the pandemic, our best work is done face-to-face and in person.
Speak to any member of the Foundation team and they will tell you that the hands-on work we do brings the biggest rewards and the greatest job satisfaction too.

The past 18 months have only served to steel our desire to make a difference to each and every one of our volunteers, to build their self esteem and develop their practical skills.
